Solid timber tables made to order from distinctive slabs and carefully selected timber.
Every table is different. Choose the size, timber and overall style you are looking for and we will work with you to create a table suited to your space.
Each piece is made in our New Zealand workshop and finished to bring out the natural grain, colour and character of the timber.

No Two Tables Are the Same.
Every slab has its own grain, colour, knots, figure and natural features.
Rather than trying to make every table identical, we work with the character of the timber. The shape of the slab, natural edges and individual features help determine the final design.
The tables shown on this page are examples of previous work. Your table will be made specifically for you and will have its own individual appearance.

We work with a changing selection of native and exotic timbers, from highly figured slabs through to cleaner solid timber boards.
If you already have a species in mind, let us know. Otherwise, tell us the size, colour and overall look you are after and we can show you suitable timber currently available.
Because our timber stock is constantly changing, some slabs and species are one-offs and may not be available again once sold.
Made to Your Space.
Dining table, boardroom table, desk or feature tabletop, each piece can be designed around where it will be used.
We can work with you on the overall length, width, height, timber thickness, edge profile and base design to create something that fits both the space and the timber.

From Slab to Finished Table.
Once we understand what you are looking for, we can help select the timber and develop the table around it.
The timber is prepared, flattened, machined and finished in our workshop before the chosen base or legs are fitted.
You will have the opportunity to confirm the key details before manufacture begins.

Built Around the Timber.
Solid timber naturally changes over time and each species behaves differently.
Our tables are designed and constructed to allow for normal timber movement while retaining the natural features that make each piece unique.
Knots, colour variation, grain changes and other natural characteristics are part of the finished table rather than imperfections to be hidden.
